Athletes plan to dance in THON for donations

The 30th Annual Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon kicks off Friday at 7 p.m. and Penn State student-athletes are doing their part to help raise money for families whose children are fighting cancer.

Among the THON dancers this weekend will be four student athletes. Jen Bailey (Fencing), Mark Bost (Wrestling), Katie Hartman (Lacrosse) and Bob Jones (Football) will be participating as dancers in the 48-hour dance marathon. The four athletes will be representing the Student-Athlete Advisory Board (SAAB).

When asked if he was nervous at all at the thought of having to stay on his feet for 48 hours, Jones said, "Being around those kids should be enough to inspire me to stay up."
