The Muslim Student Association and the Islamic Society of Central Pennsylvania will present their Eid Al-Adha celebration this weekend.
Eid Al-Adha, or feast of sacrifice, is one of the most important Muslim feasts. The celebration lasts three days.
The program will start with takbir at 8 a.m. today in 126 White Building, followed by prayer at 8:30 and then breakfast at the Islamic Society of Central Pennsylvania mosque, 709 Ridge Ave., at 9:30. Friday prayers will be as usual at 1:30 p.m. in the mosque, and children's activities will take place at 3:30 p.m. at the mosque.
Women's activities will occur at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at the mosque. Finally, there will be a collective dinner at 6 p.m. Sunday at the mosque.
