Today's University Park forecast
partly cloudy The unseasonably warm weather will continue through midweek in advance of a low pressure and associated cold front currently in the Great Lakes region. As the storm slowly slides eastward, rain showers will develop from west to east, late in the day and continue into tonight. Colder air will filter into the region on a brisk wind for the end of the work week sparking a few scattered rain or snow showers. A return to more seasonal temperatures is in store for Dance Marathon weekend.

Highlight

“I think a lot of us are ticked off”, coined news anchor, Delaina Renfro Tuesday afternoon in response to learning about stolen high-tech equipment from her Kansas City, ABC affiliate televison station. The most noteworthy piece of equipment looted was the station’s weather computer. Preliminary police reports suggest the burglary was an inside job. The station expects to receive replacement equipment in the near future.
