The truth is starting to come out!

I'm talking about the truth that The Daily Collegian is slanted to the left in its views and the way it presents the news.

Case in point, Tuesday's front-page article was about the "conservative" student senate.

During my five years at Penn State, in which the senate was liberal, I not once ever read an article about how the senate was liberal and it was never called a "liberal" senate.

This goes along the same lines as what the national media, which we all know is highly slanted to the left, will call talk show host like Rush Limbaugh "conservative talk show host" yet will call liberal talk show host just "talk show host."

The media should present the facts in an unbiased manner and allow the people to decide, yet it is clear that every chance The Daily Collegian gets, they try to downgrade the "conservative" senate in both the news articles and editorials.

They never did this when the senate was a bunch of left wing nut-cases. As journalists, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

In closing, I'd like to congratulate the "conservative" senate for actually getting results and getting some things done.

In my time at Penn State, the "liberal" senate just bickered and whined like a bunch of old ladies over used Tupperware at a garage sale.
