The State College Police Department is investigating the reported rape of a Penn State student.

The woman reported the incident occurred in the 500 block of E. Calder Way between 3 and 4 a.m. Feb 17., police said.

According to police, the victim knew her assailant.

Police said the case is under investigation and refused further comment.
