Wage gap doesn't exist due to lawsuit threats

I think its funny how Penn State feminists choose to extend the "wage gap" myth.

It's true, if you took the average salaries in a general profession with similar education, then you might come up with a difference.

Too bad that comparison is meaningless; there is more to salary then education and general field. The example the feminists used was that of a lawyer. There are many different kinds of lawyers, with various levels of experience, working in the private or public sector. So basically their "72 percent" is meaningless.

The reason the wage gap doesn't exist? Companies don't like to get sued. Equal wages for equal work is the law. If you can give one example where a man and woman with similar education, experience and job title, make different salaries within the same company, you'd have a lawsuit.
