Police Log

  • Terroristic threats: An unknown person called in a bomb threat to an office in Willard Building yesterday shortly before 4 p.m. Penn State Police Services officers posted signs warning people of the threat and searched the building. Those inside had the option to leave, but the building was not evacuated. The search found no evidence of a bomb, police said.

  • Theft: A staff member at the Computer Building reported the theft of a laptop computer from a room in Boucke Building sometime between Jan. 11 and Jan. 30, Penn State police said. The value of the laptop is estimated at $1,500, police said.



In case of an emergency, on or off campus, dial 911. For business and nonemergency calls, call the State College Police Department at 234-7150 and Penn State Police Services at 863-1111.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
