Highlight

The wintry conditions in our region might have some people down, but the weather in England and Ireland was much worse yesterday. A powerful storm ripped through this region packing winds up to 120 m.p.h. and flooding rains. Eighteen people were killed as ripping roofs off many homes and knocking out power to many others. The storm was expected to track into Germany, Poland, and Russia.
