David Partridge of IBM's e-Business Innovation Institute will speak at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Assembly Room of the Nittany Lion Inn.
His lecture will look at the global business outlook in the context of the "next-generation" networked environment. Partridge is managing principal and director of Intellectual Capital Development for the institute, which is responsible for developing viewpoints on the progress of e-business.
His presentation is part of the 2002 Distinguished Speaker Series on e-Business and is free and open to the public.
The eBusiness Research Center invited Partridge to speak. The center is a collaboration between the School of Information Sciences and Technology and the Smeal College of Business Administration. It brings speakers to Penn State each semester to discuss Internet-related issues in business.
