Multi-faith Potluck meal first event of year

The newly formed Student Advisory Board of the Center for Ethics and Religious Affairs will host its first social event tonight.

The group is sponsoring an international multi-faith potluck dinner.

All 43 religious organizations on campus as well as their advisors have been invited.

The new Student Advisory Board members will introduce themselves and their jobs at the dinner.

The potluck is open to the Penn State community.

It will take place in Eisenhower Chapel's Memorial Lounge from 5 to 6:45 p.m.

Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share.

Beverages, plates and utensils will be provided.

The board was created last semester and began operating this semester. Student members advise the chapel staff.

They will host social and educational programs throughout the semester and determine concerns to bring to the staff.

Some positions on the advisory board remain open, and elections to fill them will be conducted after the potluck.
