Police Log

  • Theft: A State College resident reported a bass guitar stolen from his apartment on the 200 block of North Burrowes Street on Monday night, the State College Police Department said. The guitar is valued at $1,400.

  • Theft: A stereo and 25 compact discs were taken from a Jeep Wrangler on the 800 block of Bellaire Avenue early Tuesday, State College police said. The vehicle also sustained damage to its soft top. Police estimated the value of the stolen property at $1,000.

  • Theft: A student reported the theft of his bicycle from the rack between Sproul and Tener Hall sometime between Dec. 16 and Jan. 11, said Penn State Police Services.

    The estimated value of the bike is $600.00, police said.

  • Theft: A delivery person reported the theft of $600.00 from their vehicle while it was parked in Lot Orange G near Redifer Commons, police said. The theft occurred yesterday between 12:30 p.m. and 1:10 p.m., police said.
