Denying citizens' rights not the way to win war

Clearly, Jarrett L. Heller's mom never said that two wrongs don't make a right. Mr. Heller insists that the loss of civil rights is not a problem since the terrorists did not concern themselves over civil rights. Therefore, we (the United States) has a right, according to Mr. Heller, to abuse any and all rights people have in our so-called attempt at justice. Mr. Heller gives himself away as a closed-minded bigot by using language such as "these people." These people, of course, being anyone of Middle-Eastern descent. In the current context of fear and war it is important to remember that we must not become what we accuse others of. We must always do what is right, and what is right is not stripping people of their civil rights and abusing our power as a nation.
