Today's University Park forecast
cloudyA low pressure system skirting by to the north could touch off some flurries early this morning; otherwise, lingering morning clouds will break for some afternoon sunshine as high pressure starts to build in. As this high pressure strengthens, clouds will mix with more sunshine on Friday. A storm system in the Southeast portion of the country could bring some flurries on Saturday. High temperatures will reach mainly seasonable levels for the next couple of days.

Another chinook wind episode was also reported on this date in 1982, where winds gusted to 137 mph in Boulder, CO.
