Men's swimming plans home meet on weekend

The 20th ranked Penn State men's swimming team will take on No. 12 Michigan and the Purdue Boilermakers tomorrow and Saturday at the McCoy Natatorium. Tomorrow's events will commence at 6 p.m. and Saturday's action will begin at 1 p.m.

The Wolverines come into the meet with several swimmers leading the Big Ten. Garret Mangieri has the best time in the 200-yard freestyle while Dan Ketchum leading the Big Ten in the 200-yard butterfly.

Purdue will also bring a strong contingent of swimmers to Penn State. The Boilermakers are currently receiving votes in the latest CSCAA Coaches poll and have several swimmers with top Big Ten times.

Penn State's last meet was against No. 14 Florida two weeks ago when the Nittany Lions lost 126-110.
