WPSU, WPSX will air 'Race Matters' show

"Race Matters," a year-long exploration of racial and ethnic relationships and their impact on individuals living in the United States, will air at 7 p.m. today.

Listeners can tune into WPSU-FM (91.5), Penn State's public radio station, or they can view it on WPSX-TV (Channel 3), the university's public television station.

Part of an ongoing series, the show is composed of several first-person narratives produced by a diverse group of Penn State students.

Members of the university community and area residents will present radio commentaries based on their personal experiences. The project will conclude this summer with an hour-long radio documentary.

Penn State students, community members, faculty and staff will be invited to share their own thoughts on race during the broadcast.
