The Undergraduate Student Government Senate decided to override a veto by USG President Justin Zartman during last night's meeting.Zartman had vetoed USG's endorsement of the Tuition Challenge Grant, an initiative that attempts to keep tuition increases low. However, after last night, the endorsement stands.

Numerous cases of missing men and women are reported each year, and the National Crime Center reports 98,697 people are missing in the United States. Of this number, 55 percent are women, and 3,492 of these women are between the ages of 22 and 29.

The mother and brother of missing student Cindy Song are preparing to hire a private investigator because they are "very frustrated" with the State College community's efforts to locate their loved one.


The university-wide celebration of the life and teachings of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., commenced last night with dramatic representations of various historic figures who have fought for freedom.

Penn State men's basketball will hope to continue that mastery tonight at 8 p.m. when they travel to the Value City Arena in Columbus to battle first place Ohio State.

At the beginning of the season, everyone circled a certain early game on the schedule that would do a lot to determine who would get the inside track on the Big Ten title. That game was not the Saturday match-up of Indiana and Ohio State.

The Penn State women's basketball team's win against Michigan on Sunday was significant because of the great team effort displayed. However, there was one notable absence on Penn State's bench: senior forward Katie Schumacher.

The All-Sports Museum is located in the southwest corner of Beaver Stadium adjacent to the new museum gift shop. A long canopy leading from Curtin Road marks the museum entrance.
