During a term in which the Undergraduate Student Government Senate has paid particular attention to fiscal responsibility, the group recently allocated $1,500 to the College Republicans for a club trip.

As the search for missing Penn State student Cindy Song continues, some students are expressing fear that interest in the search is declining among students.

Following the disappearance of Penn State student Cindy Song the morning after Halloween, some Penn State students are showing signs of increasing concern for their safety on and off campus.


The car accident that claimed the life of junior John Henry Cox marked the fifth student death in less than a year at Penn State. Erasmus of Rotterdam has finally returned to Penn State.

Tanna Pugh was named director of Penn State's Industrial Research Office yesterday. The IRO serves as a liaison between companies, university faculty and research centers and is a part of the Office of the Vice President for Research.

The Smeal College of Business Administration is seeking nominations from students for the Fred Brand Jr. Awards for Excellence in Teaching and Advising.

The win was anything but pretty, but it provided for a wild final two minutes which saw the Lions (5-9, 1-2) erase a four point deficit with a 7-0 run to lead by three with just 19 seconds to go.

In a game where Penn State got 30 of its first 40 points from the duo of Sharif Chambliss and Tyler Smith, Brandon Watkins became the hero in the final two minutes and 33 seconds.

A young team always needs a little confidence and nothing breeds confidence like winning.

With a delayed start last season due to the building of new training facilities and having to learn new rules, the men's gymnastics team did not have as great of a season as they hoped for.

Heading into the 2002 season, the Penn State men's volleyball team is ranked No. 1 and is looking to improve on last year's national championship run.

Penn State's Christie Welsh was one of 11 players named Soccer America's College Women's MVP which was announced on Tuesday. It is the third time in her career that she has received the honor.
