A book edited by Nirmal Pal and Judith Ray of Penn State with major contributions from members of the Penn State community recently was selected as one of two "Outstanding Academic Titles of 2001" by CHOICE magazine.

The book, Pushing the Digital Frontier: Insights into the Changing Landscape of E-Business, was created under the eBusiness Research Center at Penn State with cooperation from the Smeal College of Business, the School of Information Sciences and Technology and the College of Communications.

The work offers advice and examples of how businesses are successfully transitioning to an online environment and economy.

Pal, executive director of the Penn State eBRC, was pleased with the award, which may bring greater attention to it.
