Judicial Affairs correct in Jean Celestin verdict
Finally Judicial Affairs has stepped up and done the right thing. I have friends who were expelled or suspended for being charged with "failure to disperse" but a convicted sexual predator would be allowed to graduate? Thankfully, Judicial Affairs has righted at least one of these wrongs by expelling Jean Celestin for two years. What kind of message was Penn State sending by saying "We need rape cards" on the same page as "we let convicted sexual assaulters graduate?" Mr. Celestin was quoted on how this conviction has hurt his wrestling career and job opportunities. I guess maybe he should have considered that before he committed this crime. He was quoted as saying "I have a right to my education." Sorry Jean, education is a privilege which can be revoked. What about the victim's right to not be sexually assaulted? Mr. Celestin can ponder that one for the next two years. Tyler Britten
