Today's University Park forecast
snowSnow! Need one say anymore? The snow of Sunday and last night has since moved to the north and east following the low pressure system out to sea. However, another upper-level disturbance will bring the renewed chance for light snow over the region again today. As this system exits, Centre county will will have a brief reprieve of sunny conditions before a weak system from Canada attempts to cover the area with clouds and a little more light snow for the middle of the week.

Highlight

Happy Valley is not the only region to see snow recently as Athens, Greece, and Turkey's Aegean and Mediterranean coasts saw up to three feet of snow. This is terribly unusual for the region and military personel were called in to make numerous rescues. The heavy snow also forced a delegation of U.S. senators to cancel their trip to Istanbul. Many remote towns are still unreachable as roads remain impassible.
