You could have kept it or tossed it in a dumpster, but you chose to give it back - to correct the wrong that you did.

We in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences really appreciate that. I am glad that your moral sense in the end overpowered your need to possess neat toys.

And I am glad that you went beyond a resolution not to pull that kind of stunt again and went so far as to risk discovery by returning the projector.
