A man runs through the street in his underwear and gets stripped of his diploma. Another man sexually assaults a freshman and gets to graduate after a two year expulsion.
Penn State's Office of Judicial Affairs really needs to reassess its priorities. One wonders why the university finds that a man who was convicted of sexual assault who was on scholarship has a "right to an education" but that Mr. Nowak, who completed his degree and who paid for his education did not.
The fact that a university considers sexual assault a lesser offense is slap in the face to all Penn State alumnae.
