Police Log

  • Theft: A Penn State staff member reported that sometime between Nov. 27 and Nov. 29, a VHS camera, tripod and two batteries were stolen from a room in the Carnegie Building, Penn State Police Services said.

    The estimated value of the items is $1,300, police said.

  • Assault: Police responded to a call around 3 p.m. yesterday on the 400 block of Jacks Mill Drive, the State College Police Department said. Shortly thereafter, Cortland Dugger, 36, was arrested and charged with domestic assault, police said. Dugger struck a woman on the lip and then chased her when she tried to run away, police said.

    Dugger was arraigned before District Justice Ron Horner. Bail was set at $2,500, police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.
