Traffic pattern change to occur at I-99

A major traffic pattern change will occur, weather permitting, at the I-99 Scotia Road Interchange construction project site tomorrow, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced yesterday.

PENNDOT's contractor, New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company, will institute a traffic pattern change that will affect all vehicles traveling eastbound on S.R. 322 towards State College.

Those traveling on North Atherton Street (Business 322) will return to the former pattern of exiting to the right, while Lewistown traffic (Expressway 322 East) will stay left and use the newly reconstructed lanes of I-99.

Any traffic leaving State College by way of either North Atherton Street or Expressway 322 West will not be affected by this change.
