Public opinion might play an important role in the United States' mission to eradicate terrorism, several Penn State professors say.

It is hard for a less talented team to beat a more talented team. It is impossible for a team with less talent to win if it makes too many mistakes.

Few teams have had the success in recent years against the ACHA Div. I Icers that Eastern Michigan has had. Not this weekend, however.

All season long, Penn State women's volleyball coach Russ Rose claimed that he had never coached a team like this one. It was therefore fitting that their season ended unlike any other in the history of the program.


Special teams. They are important in ice hockey just as they are in football.

In the game of soccer, most players score with their feet and sometimes even their heads -- but the Penn State season came to an end on Saturday in a 2-1 loss against North Carolina off of a goal scored by Alyssa Ramsey's derriere.

The Penn State men's soccer team's yearlong quest for a national championship ended in disappointment this weekend.

Six bouts were taking place at the same time, but it seemed unanimously that everyone was focused on one.

Lynn Greer had 25 points and six assists to power Temple past the Penn State men's basketball team, 75-63, on Saturday in a rematch of the NCAA South Regional Semifinal.

Sometimes when you compete against the best you perform your best. That was the case when the Penn State women's swimming team traveled to East Meadow, N.Y., to compete in the 2001 U.S. Open this past weekend.

Although the season is still young, it's becoming apparent that Kelly Mazzante is going to be the leader of the Penn State women's basketball team this year.
