Police Log

  • Burglary: A Penn State student reported theft from his apartment on the 200 block of East Beaver Avenue, Penn State Police Services said. An unknown individual entered the apartment and stole a Sony Playstation, one game controller, two memory cards and 22 game cartridges. Value of the stolen property is $1,404, police said.

  • Criminal Trespass: A female resident of Curtin Hall reported an unknown man was asleep in her room at 8:19 a.m. Saturday, Penn State police said. The male was apprehended in the room and issued a citation for Criminal Trespass and released, police said.

  • Sexual Assault: Centre Community Hospital reported a student was treated for sexual assault, Penn State Police Services said. The incident occurred in Runkle Hall between the overnight hours of Thursday night and Friday morning, police said.

  • Theft: A student reported the theft of his computer from a room in the Pollock Undergraduate Library, Penn State Police Services said. The incident occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday. Estimated value of the computer is $1,780, police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
