A campus-wide celebration will take place today to mark the beginning of the 100-day countdown to the 2002 Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon " . . . with all your heart".

The festivities will celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary of the dance marathon, which will take place Feb. 22 to 24.

Giveaways and information about Thon involvement will be available at various locations on campus throughout today. From 9 to 11 a.m., tables will be set up in Findlay Commons, East Halls and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the HUB-Robeson Center. A 48-hour floor pass will be raffled off between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the HUB-Robeson Center.

Several events for the celebration will take place at University Gates on South Allen Street, where WQWK-FM (97.1) Rock will be broadcasting live from 12 to 2 p.m. The Nittany Lion also will be at the gates to entertain students.
