Centre County Crimestoppers is asking anyone with information pertaining to the theft of several items taken from dorm rooms in East Halls, valued at about $10,000, to contact them.

Between Oct. 5 and 9, an unknown person or group of people entered 10 residences in Hastings, Stone, Snyder and Tener halls, according to the Crimestoppers press release.

Various items including computers, a camcorder, CD players, a digital camera and cordless telephones were taken from the multiple dorms.

The perpetrators were believed to have entered Snyder Hall on Oct. 7 between 3 and 4 a.m. A dark colored pick-up truck with a stripe was seen in the area at that time.

Anyone with information about these burglaries is asked to call Centre County Crimestoppers at 1-800-99-CRIME. All callers can remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a reward if information given leads to an arrest.
