Letter to the Editor
Student organizations unworthy of attacks

In response to Adam Kapp's column yesterday, I would like to say that I am ashamed that anyone, most of all a columnist, would defame a member of an organization in a weak attempt to attack that organization. The person you speak of who, "present(ed)... her middle finger," is one of the most professional, intelligent, and hard working people I know. And given that the College Republicans do not condone that sort of behavior, I cannot believe you when you say, "a spectator observed a member of the crowd," and they witnessed all of this occur.

This was nothing more than a thinly veiled attack on the College Republicans and served no other purpose than to accuse our hardworking members of indecent acts. As for your comments about the USG Senate, I have seen you around the USG office, possibly looking for column leads, but never once have I seen you at a senate meeting.
