Concert's point missed in Collegian's review

I am writing in response to Matthew and Michael Yoder's article on the Pledge of Allegiance Tour. They missed the whole message of the concert. As for the article, for two guys who say they like Korn and Tool, they sure don't understand a mosh pit. They would have seen that when someone fell, or got hurt, they were immediately helped up. I personally was helped a few times when guys I never meet before made room for me so I could stay with the group of people I was with.

I had no problem understanding the lyrics. Neither did my friends, or the thousands of other people who sang every word to every song. And they said no one put on a "clown show"? They had the four members only with no stage show, did they even watch the concert? The message from the bands was understood. System of a Down sings about the Armenian genocide, which their ancestors had to deal with and also about such topics as drugs and the prison system. Did they also see Corey Taylor, lead singer of Slipknot, stop to say that hate crimes are up, and how wrong that is, and to stop killing innocent Americans. So you didn't like the 666 or the pentagrams, which, if you noticed, had nine points, one for each member of the band.

We are metal fans who like these bands. Even if you don't like them, the audiences will keep growing, so get used to it.
