Freshmen enthusiasm still big part of football
This is in response to the letter to the editor written by Aaron Stutzman. I am not sure if Aaron Stutzman was at the same game I was at. In the freshman and sophomore section, not only was I encased by deafening chanting for three hours, but I was also surrounded by fans showing pride in all forms, ranging from blue hair to Nittany Lion face-paint, and from posters shouting "We Are . . . Penn State" to wave-starting cheers. We are a lucky class to have our sixth Penn State game ever to be one of the greatest in history. Just because we are new, however, doesn't mean we can't have pride. On behalf and in support of all freshman here at Penn State, I say, "good job on showing your support and pride, even though this is only our first attempt." To Aaron: Just because you are excited that you are finally a junior and don't have to sit in our section any more doesn't mean you have to make false accusations. David Hermann
