Two regional travel agencies announced their merger this week. Omega World Travel, 215 S. Atherton St., will combine with Accent on Travel, 444 E. College Ave. Omega specializes in business and corporate travel, counting Penn State as one of its clients, while Accent caters to the leisure and student travel market, according to an Omega press release.

"This union is great for the Centre Region," Brent Pasquinelli, president of Omega, said in the release. "Our combined resources and intelligence allows us to expertly handle the full spectrum of our community's travel needs."

Both agencies are members of Centre County's online travel Web site, statecollegeflights.com.
