No anthrax found in county's 53 incidents

Of the 53 reports of suspicious material in Centre County, no anthrax has been found, the Centre County Board of Commissioners said in a press release.

The Centre County Department of Public Safety and the Penn State Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Response Team announced that during the period of Oct. 13 through 8 a.m. Oct. 24, the HazMat team and local law enforcement have responded to 53 anthrax-related scares, all of which were found to be harmless, the release said.
