Police Log

  • Fraud: The State College Police Department reported Wednesday evening that a suspect charged $800 worth of merchandise to another person's credit card.

    The charges were made on Sept. 15, 24, and 25 and included purchases at Victoria's Secret, police said.

  • Theft: A Penn State student reported the loss or theft of several items of jewelry somewhere between Dulles International Airport and University Park Airport on Wednesday afternoon, Penn State Police Services said.

    The incident occurred sometime between 10:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 8, police said.

    The estimated value of the items is $565, police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
