The Centre Area Transportation Authority Board of Directors will sponsor a public meeting on Monday. The meeting will be at 4 p.m. in the State College Borough Council Chambers in the State College Municipal Building, 118 S. Fraser St., according to a CATA press release.

During the meeting, the CATA Board of Directors will be accepting comments on a proposed increase in the current base fair of $1, the release said. There may also be increases in token and pass prices as well.

Suggestions and viewpoints of those that cannot attend the meeting may be sent to L. Eric Bernier, director of service development at Centre Transportation Authority, 2081 W. Whitehall Road.
