Letter to the Editor
Recognizing existence of evil first step in fight

In response to the letter "Division of world into good, evil is illogical," I would like to say that this kind of thinking is the very definition of evil.

Groups and individuals, who bomb buildings, pizzerias and nightclubs, are not freedom fighters. They are not acting in response to the United States' foreign policy.

We did not bring these attacks upon ourselves, no more than did the Jews bring the horrible actions of the Nazi's upon themselves.

It is terrorism, pure and simple. Good and evil is not determined by anyone's point of view. The failure to recognize evil is evil in itself.

The United States supports Israel because it is a democratic nation that supports peace. We are in no way supporting terrorism against Palestine. Seeing such lines being blurred is just ludicrous.
