The Penn State Ice Lions will play their first home game tomorrow night at the Greenberg Sports Complex with the opening face off scheduled for 10:10 p.m. The Ice Lions (1-1) will host Washington and Jefferson, and a portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
The Ice Lions dropped their season opener on the road last weekend in a 7-3 loss to Montclair State, but rebounded the following afternoon by knocking off the University of Pennsylvania 7-5.
"The game was a lot more lopsided then the score reflects," Ice Lion goaltender David Levine said.
The Ice Lions were defeated by Washington and Jefferson 5-1 last year, and they hope to avenge that loss with a victory in their season debut on home ice.
