Palmer Museum of Art to open its doors for special Family Day event tomorrow

Tomorrow is Family Day at the Palmer Museum of Art.

Parents and children (ages 5 to 12) are welcome to visit three special exhibitions: Differences Preserved: Reconstructed Tombs from the Liao and Song Dynasties, The Poetry of Line: Drawings by Henry Pearson, and American Pastorale: Drawings by John F. Kensett.

After seeing the exhibits, participants will be able to spend time in the museum lobby doing the creative activities suggested in the family day packet given free to everyone. There will be three activities available for the children, each one related to one of the three exhibits.

There will also be refreshments served from 11 a.m.
to 2 p.m.
