U.S. must do everything to eliminate terrorism
This recent tragedy has brought to light the mistakes in foreign policy the United States has made over the past 50 years. Presidents of both parties have slowly given in to terrorists and to countries who are our sworn enemies. This attempt at appeasement has not helped to make the terrorist countries less angry at us, rather it has emboldened them to try more destructive methods. Make no mistake about it, these terrorists and the countries that support them will hate us no matter how much we try to reach out to them or try to understand them. The United States is hated not because of our policy towards Israel or other Middle Eastern countries, we are hated because we are the last beacon of freedom and individuality in the world. Those that support terrorism are not at all interested in freedom or individuality, and will not be happy until the United States no longer exists. The United States needs to take immediate military action not just against those directly responsible for the current tragic terrorist acts, we must also attack any country that has harbored terrorists or sworn to work for the destruction of the U.S. We are in a state of war, and in the words of Leonard Peikoff, Objectivist philosopher "To those who oppose war, I ask: If not now, when? How many more corpses are necessary before this country should take action? The choice today is mass death in the United States or mass death in the terrorist nations."
