We'd like to respond to Alyssa Pinsker's letter to the editor. We find it very interesting that Pinsker neglected to mention that women are not the only victims of sexual assault.

She says, "We need to start telling men that sexual assault is wrong instead of telling women to lock their doors." We agree with her that this is a very unfortunate event and sexual assault should never happen.

However, we think that it needs to be mentioned that men are not always the rapists. We hypothesize that Alyssa Pinsker's position as the president of the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance creates a very strong bias in her letter. Instead of providing "more education for our male students on what is respectful and appropriate behavior," we need to educate everyone.

We definitely do not appreciate the stereotype that Alyssa has created of the male population in the Penn State student body.
