Penn State has one of the greatest teams of any university in the United States.

This team goes quietly, politely and efficiently about its business each and every day.

To most of the students and faculty, the team members' efforts go unnoticed.

I have attended seven different universities, so I can speak with some authority.

This team consists of the working clerks, secretaries, custodians, grounds and building crews.

These are the people who keep the whole place up and functioning and thus make the education of the students here at Penn State possible.

All of these people whom my wife and I have talked with are gracious, polite and helpful.

We want to thank each and every one of them and bring them the recognition they so well deserve.
