Learn how to access databases to local news, both past and present on Wednesday, July 18, 2001 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Pattee Library, room 315.

The University Libraries are offering a seminar "Researching Newspaper Databases," which will provide information concerning how to access online databases such as Academic Universe, Dow Jones News Retrieval and ProQuest.

The seminar will also provide strategies for effectively researching the news.
