I am writing to you on the subject of the moronic protest that was staged at the Blue-White game on Saturday.

I know many activists on this campus are aching for a cause, but this is ridiculous. Sports superstars, celebrities, politicians and many others receive anonymous death threats all the time and the measures taken then are the same that the university police and FBI are taking now.

Officials took a proactive approach by warning Black Caucus leaders of the potential of threats, and how to handle them to preserve them as evidence to help catch the perpetrators.

They even sent an e-mail to every student on campus asking for help and offering a $5,000 reward.
