Last night, hundreds of participants took part in Penn State's 16th annual Take Back the Night rally and march.

In their first meeting Tuesday night, the 32nd Congress of the Undergraduate Student Government elected Sean Clark (junior-political science) the new Senate president and appointed their committee chairs.

Alanna Hartzok, the Green Party candidate for the state's 9th Congressional District, spoke to a crowd of about 20 students and community members yesterday afternoon.

The words started out simple — virus, hornet and churn, for example — but soon evolved into terminology only a dictionary could love.

The Schreyer Honors College has been granted Undergraduate Student Government Academic Assembly representation after a unanimous vote during an assembly meeting Monday night.

The former Center for Logistics Research in Penn State's Smeal College of Business Administration will begin operating today under its new name — the Center for Supply Chain Research.

The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation recently named Philip Bevilacqua a 2001 Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow. Bevilacqua, assistant professor of chemistry in the Eberly College of Science, was awarded one of the 104 fellowships given by the foundation this year.
