Letter to the Editor
White students should be included in discussions about racism without the fear of backlash, criticism: Letter 2

Everyone missed the point of the David Witmer' letter. He was trying to say that instead of berating each other and nit picking about details, progress should be made in any format. It would appear from letters I have read that being white at psu is becoming a crime. Even those who attempt to understand the views of others are rejected because "they couldn't possibly understand." Well, how can they understand if there is no one to teach them? It also has become apparent that voicing opinions is welcome so long as they agree with what the minority wishes. If you argue against whites, you are immediately labeled an activist while arguing as a white person, you are instantly a white supremacist or member of the KKK. That sounds to me like prejudice — making some sort of judgement about someone based on his appearance or by limited interaction.
