A team of black state legislators and their assistants spent yesterday in a whirlwind of meetings with Penn State students, faculty and administrators, part of a fact-finding mission about campus racism.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is tracking a fungal disease that affected several students, including some from Penn State, who went to Acapulco, Mexico, for spring break.
Because of the recent troubles that some students have encountered with off-campus disturbances, Legal Affairs, a branch of the Undergraduate Student Government Executive Department, intends to gear up for the students that have become entangled in some of these problems.
Sometimes there are smaller minority groups within a minority group. Sometimes members of these groups can only fulfill their needs by sharing their stories with those who have had similar experiences.
