Gyms all serve purposes; competition is capitalistic

What ever happened to capitalism? Besides certain moral circumstances, the correct response to more demand is raising prices or raising the quantity available for sale. I do not know if the fitness pass covers the cost of running facilities, but if the price of fitness passes could increase to the point that no more money must slip into the system, then they should fill up the White Building with equipment, regardless of concerns of off-campus gyms.

Weren't the off-campus gyms created to meet the demand (for the most part) of local residents or students frustrated with on-campus fitness facilities? My suggestion to the gym owners is to sell their equipment to PSU and then find a new business to run there. The White Building was renovated at great time and cost. You payed for the renovations. Use what you paid for.
