Letter to the Editor
Both Zartman, Hudnall capable of doing more

I congratulate Justin Zartman and Amanda Hudnall for winning the USG presidency Wednesday, and I hope that this victory is not the last nor the greatest for them. In the interests of keeping this election "clean," I have been biting my tongue for quite a while.

I have been disappointed all along with their platform goals for Penn State and USG. To quote the Collegian, "Some of their campaign goals are a little lackluster." I agree, and it seems that the student body's opinion of USG is not going to change for the better next year unless they go above and beyond what they are proposing.

Justin and Amanda are capable of much more than they're promising, as anyone who is close to this election already knows. The last thing Penn State needs is a president and vice president who have all the potential in the world, and too much of the apathy that makes our voter turnout just over 10 percent. Yeah, you guys beat me, so call it "sour apples" if you like, but this plea comes from the heart. Prove me wrong, and be the leaders I know you can be. You won't need to write "USG president" on your resumes to have my respect, or my gratitude.
