The fifth annual Unity Days celebration of diversity and cultures begins today with the theme "Building our CommUNITY."
There will be a panel discussion, "White Roles in Fighting Racism," at 8 tonight in 101 Thomas Building.
There will be a Unity March starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Lion Shrine and ending at the Pollock Rec Room. At 8 p.m. there will be an interactive game to explore race relations by Project Growth called "Star Power."
The Cultural Expressions Celebration will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Pollock Rec Room. Entertainment will include bands, readings, student organization performances and an open forum. Refreshments will be served.
The Coaches vs. Cancer 5K Run/Walk will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Intramural Building. Race day registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Entry fees are $12 for pre-registered participants and $15 for people who registered after March 28.
The Red Ribbon AIDS 5K Walk by the AIDS Project will take place Sunday at 1 p.m. in Central Parklet.
