After yesterday's close Undergraduate Student Government vote, Justin Zartman and Amanda Hudnall will have an opportunity to put "students first" as the new USG president and vice president.

Students logged on in overwhelming numbers yesterday to vote in student government elections, pushing turnout to its highest level since 1993.

Twelve of the 20 people arrested during Saturday's early morning disturbance on Beaver Avenue were bound over on all charges during their preliminary hearings yesterday.

Members of the State College Borough Council asked students this week to tell them what can be done to curb disturbances such as the one Friday night on Beaver Avenue. One student group is working to do just that.

The St. Francis softball team had its first victory in 13 tries against Penn State in its grasp last night. Then, just like the Red Flash did to several softballs, they bobbled it.

Michael Peck confirmed reports yesterday he would leave the coaching ranks at Penn State to take a job with the Orlando Miracle of the WNBA.

Any experienced boxer has scarred flesh; it's something that comes with the territory.

Fencers come and fencers go at Penn State. The national championship factory keeps pressing out trophies. But, the Nittany Lions didn't reel in the gold this year.

The 73rd Annual Academy Awards' red carpet was littered with glamorous celebrities and a few walking disasters. This was a year for classic black, bright tropical colors and stuffed poultry.

Enemy at the Gates opens with all of the drama and destruction that Saving Private Ryan had, but two-and-a-half hours later, it ends predictably and without any fanfare.
